4.1.3. Interactive Event Dispatch

While audio/video is being streamed from the CLOID server to the client, various information values and events of the client must be transmitted to and processed by the server in real-time for a successful interaction to be completed. CLOID is a technology that captures client information values and events occurring on various devices and resolutions, and sends them to the server through an independent port set up for each profile. That way, the server recognizes, processes, and responds to the user's request.

The information values and events that are being processed or can be processed by CLOID are as follows:

  • Event: Gesture (Tap, Press, Drag, Swipe, Zoom In & Out…), Shake, etc.

  • Information Values: Battery, Camera, Time, GPS, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, etc
